Bart J. Tyson is the founding attorney of the Pittsburgh Law Firm Bart J. Tyson, P.C. He has been a practicing attorney in the State of Pennsylvania for over 40 years.

Prior to Mr. Tyson's admission to the Duquesne University School of Law in the fall of 1976, Mr. Tyson managed a small business in the steel finishing industry for approximately two years. His duties included all aspects of management, marketing, accounting, and finance of the business which was formally known as Pittsburgh Polishing, Inc.

Prior to returning to Pittsburgh, Mr. Tyson attended New York University Graduate School of Business and worked at the Chemical Bank as a management trainee simultaneously attending Graduate Business School.

Bart J. Tyson has had a longstanding reputation for counselling over one hundred small business clients regarding all legal aspects of business management. It has been his philosophy to always advise clients on the fundamental economics consequences of any legal decision. Furthermore, Mr. Tyson believes clients should always understand all possible alternatives as a sound basis for making final decisions.

During Mr. Tyson's professional practice, he has advised clients on business formation, business and personal litigation, on the administration of estates and trusts, on a wide variety of commercial and residential matters, past bankruptcy matters, business transfers, and real estate matters.

Mr. Tyson has a close personal family and his non-vocational interests include reading, golf, bowling, travelling, and chess. Additionally, Mr. Tyson has been an active member for many years in the Pittsburgh Athletic Association and is a past President of the Fox Chapel Area Kiwanis Club.
